About TLC

Welcome to TLC Clean, from founder Barbara Loraine.

Why did we get into the cleaning product business?

People wonder how I can be so passionate about TLC Clean products . . . until they try them! Then they rave and jump up and down, too. I feel lucky to be bringing these awesome products to America!

The story begins with me, the founder of TLC Clean.
I am green. And I am a marketer and promoter.
I was open to the idea of finding a green product that I could put my “mojo” behind. Like a lot of other people, I don’t like waste, I want a good bang for my buck, and I think it’s important to take care of my health and the planet. With TLC Clean, I encourage people to think about their purchases and I give them an alternative to what’s usual. Especially since what’s usual with cleaning products is harmful, unhealthy chemicals.

Why a green product?

I am for health and for people making choices that are in their best interest. So, I’m for organic vegetables and for using precious resources wisely.

But, I used bleach to get my white porcelain sink clean. So, when I learned about the potential for cleaning products that really work AND that are healthier and are good for the environment, I saw my opportunity.

As I looked more closely at what’s usual with cleaning products, I got hooked on the idea of providing “honest to goodness” solutions to cleaning problems. Products often use harsh chemicals that are known human carcinogens, that lead to skin damage, and that pose developmental and respiratory hazards. Or if products are green or natural, they often just don’t work very well. With TLC Clean, we solve those problems . . . and more.

How do your products save money and time?

You use less of TLC Clean to get the results you want. And you don’t need a gazillion different products to get the job done. TLC Clean products are multi-purpose. All that saves you money. And using TLC Clean is different. When a product can be in powder form mixed with water, we do that. And, you have to add the powder to water and dissolve it. That means less product and packaging cost, less shipping and warehousing cost. That’s better for your pocketbook and for the environment. We think mixing a powder in water is a small step to take for your better health, saving money, and eco-friendliness.

Some of our products save time because once you clean, your stuff stays cleaner longer.
For example, our car cleaner resists road grime, bug splatter, and bird droppings, that means that touch-ups are a snap. When it’s easy, you can feel more inclined to get rid of spots right away – that’s much better for your paint. Since it takes just minutes to clean your car, it takes less time than going to the car wash.
